Grant Application

The charitable objects of ISTAR include the provision of medical services for women in New Zealand and the support of health-related research in New Zealand. Education opportunities such as attendance at courses may also be considered. Priority is given to abortion-related research. 

ISTAR invites applications for the funding of projects both small and large.

1. Round one. CLOSE DATE 27 Feb. DECISION DATE 10 April

2. Round two. CLOSE DATE 29 May. DECISION DATE 10 July

3. Round three. CLOSE DATE 28 August. DECISION DATE 9 October

4. Round four. CLOSE DATE 30 October. DECISION DATE 11 December.
